Local Delivery Service
Our local delivery service has just become live for customers within the local community of our Garden Centres at Great Amwell & Chenies. We are working hard to ensure we can offer as many products as possible.

All local deliveries will be contactless and to the front of your property or through the back gate if open and unattended. Our delivery driver will call you when outside to confirm it is them, deliver your items and call you again once the delivery is completed.
Our current local delivery areas are as follows:
Great Amwell: Within 10 mile radius of the garden centre. Click here for a map
Chenies: Within 10 mile radius of the garden centre. Click here for a map
Peterborough: We're unable to offer local delivery to the Peterborough area at this time.
We realise that many of our valued customers may be located outside of these areas and wherever possible we will do our very best to accommodate you, however at this time these are the only locations we can deliver to.
Orders over £75 are delivered free, either locally or nationally.
Delivery Charges & Times
Minimum spend for local delivery is £30, any orders under £30 are subject to a £10 delivery charge.
Orders under £75 and over the minimum spend of £30 will have a delivery charge of £3.95, either locally or nationally added to your order.
We will try to deliver your order as quick as we possibly can, orders will be scheduled with you via telephone call. We do request at this time your patience whilst we manage these orders as safely as we possibly can.
Our current lead times are 7 - 10 working days, we are aiming wherever possible to complete your delivery quicker than these times but we do request your patience during this busy time.
All items currently listed as in stock on our website (excluding Supplier Direct) are available for local delivery, there are certain items which are only available for local delivery to the above locations. If you're order contains these items and you are not within the above postcodes we will be in contact to arrange either a refund or discuss other options.
These items are marked as "Local Delivery Where Available" - when you look at the products themselves, you'll be asked to Check Local Store Stock, this will then apply across all of those items and display whether they're available at your local centre.

Ordering via Telephone:
Great Amwell (Ware) Garden Centre
Please call our dedicated ordering telephone line : 01920 876808. This line will be available from 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm Saturday & Sunday.
Chenies (Rickmansworth) Garden Centre
Please call our dedicated ordering telephone lines : 01494 764545 / 01494 546737. This line will be available from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm Sunday.
We are able to deliver a wide variety of products (gardening) using our telephone ordering service including compost and plants. These orders are limited to the radius listed above at this time.
Once we have taken your order, we will go and pick the items from the garden centre. Once everything you've requested has been picked, we will call you back to complete payment. All payments must be completed by either Credit Card or Debit Card, we are unable to process any form of cash or voucher payment.
When you're delivery is completed, we will provide your receipt in an envelope amongst your items. We are working on email systems for these at present.
